Bill Scott has over thirty years of leadership experience in local, state, and national real estate markets.

In his current position as Senior Vice President for Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Bill coaches Weichert Brokers & Sales Associates in all areas of the real estate business. 

This website is dedicated to that effort.

In 1975, at the age of 24, Bill opened his first real estate office. The Tampa-based company, Century 21 Harmon Realty, quickly grew to four offices. Within five years his company was ranked in the top ten of more than 300 offices in the Franchisor’s South Florida Region. During this time he earned the Century 21 National Achievement in Management Award,

In 1981 Bill sold the company and accepted a position as Regional Franchise Sales Director with Century 21.  In his first 18 months, he and a colleague sold 55 franchises and earned the award for Top Region in Franchise Sales.  Four years later Bill was promoted to Executive Director, a position he held for the next ten years. 

In this position, Bill supervised every aspect of the regional franchise leading the company to a 200% increase in sales and listings.  Additionally he managed a highly successful multimedia marketing, advertising, and public relations campaign and personally created the Century 21 Prestige Homes Collection Magazine to market upscale homes.  During his tenure, Century 21 was ranked the number one real estate company in South Florida sales by the South Florida Business Journal.

In 1997 Homes & Land Publishing recruited Bill to be its Vice-President of Franchise Development.  In his first year he created and implemented an innovative group presentation and sales training curriculum using video feedback and sales training audiocassettes.  He led the franchisees to increased sales and assisted Homes.com in the design and launch of a successful web site for real estate professionals.  Bill also planned and executed the National Sales Meetings while increasing attendance and reducing cost. 

When Homes.com became a separate company in 1999, Bill was asked to join the newly created company as National Training Director and Vice President of Sales.  Based in Menlo Park, California, Homes.com was a truly innovative enterprise offering Agent Advantage as well as Broker Advantage websites for agents and brokers. From 1999 - 2001 Bill delivered sales and training presentations to audiences ranging up to 300 people and created a series of internet based training tutorials. 

In 2001, Marty Rueter, President of the newly created Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, the franchise division of Weichert, Realtors invited Bill to join the company as Vice President of Franchise Sales.  As one of three founders, he helped expand Weichert from its regional presence in the Northeast to a national franchise which now spans 36 states and 350 offices.  In 2005 the company was recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the top 10 new franchises to begin operations in the past five years.
